Privacy Policy

Your videos

The tools on this site open and process your videos inside your own browser. Your videos, the pictures you capture and the transcripts you create are not uploaded to our servers.

Optional downloader tools

If the downloader tabs are enabled and unlocked, the link you paste is sent to our server, which looks up the public video and can fetch it for you. Downloaded files are kept only temporarily so that you can save them, and are deleted automatically within about an hour. We do not publish or share them.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name or email through the tools. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

Data stored on your device

The site may save small preferences, such as your chosen language and whether to transcribe automatically, in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device. Your browser also saves the speech model after the first download so that it loads faster next time.

Third-party services

To provide the video to text tool, your browser downloads software and a speech model from public content delivery services (such as jsDelivr and Hugging Face). These services can see your IP address and basic browser details when you request files from them, under their own privacy policies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Advertising and cookies

We use third-party advertising partners, including Google, to show ads. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising in your Google account’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com, or learn about opting out at aboutads.info. Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before using cookies for advertising, and you can change your choice at any time.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
